"not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near." Hebrews 10:25

::: meaningful Connections :::

God designed each of us with a need for meaningful relationships with other people. Here at Granada we want to provide a variety of ways for people to freely connect with others, so that the meaningful relationships we need can be formed and nurtured.

Below are various connection-oriented groups at Granada for all ages and a wide variety of life circumstances.  Contact our Connections Pastor, Zoro Mer, for info and assistance (zoro@ghfc.org)

connect 5

Connect5 is a ministry that connects you with four other people via text messaging. It allows you to engage in meaningful relationships where you can discuss life, the sermon, ask for prayer request, or even service projects. Connect5 allows you to be involved in a group without an overwhelming amount of time commitment. You connect with others from your own mobile device. This is a connection point for everyone in the church, whether you have been in involved for the past 30 years or 30 days, this really is for you.

Contact Zoro Mer for more information (zoro@ghfc.org)

 ::: Fellowship Groups  :::

Due to COVID, fellowship groups have not been meeting in person.  We hope to resume soon.  Please check our online schedule for the most current church schedule.

Adult fellowship groups regularly meet on Sunday mornings and they are the best place to begin forming connections with others.   Each group has an open door for visitors, so feel free to walk right in, grab some refreshments, and be warmly greeted.

::: Men :::

Men’s (STORM groupsare starting soon!

STORM stands for “Scriptural Teaching Of Real Men”.

The best way to accomplish this is to study God’s Word with other men!

For the 2020 - 2021 STORM season, the men will be studying the book of Isaiah, which is timely considering the social issues of the day.

What you need to participate:

  • Have a desire to study God’s Word.
  • Join a group or start a new group.
  • Meetings are an hour and are held once a week. (Time and Days vary)
  • Groups meet at the church, off-campus, or Zoom.
  • Men of all ages are welcomed!

Please contact Manny Tovar (email:  mctovar2@yahoo.com) if you have any questions.

::: Seniors :::

Every month, on the third Thursday from 11:30am to 1:30pm, is our fun and faith-building gathering that we call SENIOR CONNECT.  Open to all senior citizens, 55+, it's a great opportunity to connect with friends and to form new friendships.  There are plenty of opportunities to connect over lunch, games, and activities.  Plus, enjoy an engaging speaker or storyteller.

Join us in Joy Hall, every third Thursday of the month, September through May.  For more details, please contact our Connections Pastor, Zoro Mer.

::: Chara SINGLES :::

We’re contentedly single, coming together for community, fellowship, food & service.

We like to say it's a safe community for singles of all ages.  Chara usually gathers for lunch on Sundays.
